International Court of Justice

The 03 Feb 2009 decision of the International Court of Justice setting the maritime boundary between Romania and Ukraine can be read in summary at icj-decision.pdf.  Ownership of Snake Island, which the court calls Serpents' Island, was never at issue, and the maritime boundary set by the Court puts Serpents' Island well on the Ukrainian side.
